v1.1 updater not working for me either

I've got CF v1.1, and I've just worked out I have to go to the Tools and click Update before I run the EXE in the CF folder.

Anyway, I go to Tools. My network light is green (this isn't in a car, it's on my desktop PC) and I've got an internet connection. When I click System Info, it says I'm running CF v1.1.0.0.

When I click Update, I get "No updates available".

Am I doing something wrong? Please help!

It does not work in trial mode, you have to register on the site and enter a serial number...

if you click login on the site and signup, you can then login and under the new My Account that will show up in the top right you can request a test serial...

then the update should work for you...

if you get a long loading screen, been reported by some, this is a new bug with internet detection... it is only happening to some users and I am working on it now for the 1.12 update and I will post a new 1.12 install file as well...
