Standard - Phone - Phone won't pair first time, second time it does
Please give a brief description of the issue here Phone won't pair first time, second time it does
Which product are you experiencing this problem with Standard
What version of Centrafuse are you running RC7
What module in Centrafuse are you experiencing this issue in Phone
Are you able to reproduce this bug at will Yes
What were you doing when you encountered the bug Pairing the first time with installing CF, I got no problems, pairing and calling works fine. Now when I shut down the PC, the problems start.
I always shut down my PC comepletely. When I do that, I have to take out my dongle because when I start the PC up again, the dongle is not recognised.
Probably a Windows error, but this is no problem for me. When CF is up and running, I plug in the dongle. The bluetoot-stack is turned blue so it works.
Now I see the bluetoot-sign flashing sometimes (searching). I turn on bluetooth on the phone and I get a question for pairing. I push 'yess' and than nothing.
My phone shows a sign which means 'paired', but no 'hands free' sign.
Now I keep getting the question if I want to pair and I keep pushing 'yess'.
Sometimes the 'paired' sign goes away and comes back. I got a Nokia N95-8GB. I don't get to see any batery-sign also in CF.
What I do is close down CF and go to Windows. The bluetooth-stack in the left corner is still blue so everything is OK.
I start CF again and now pairing goes fine. I get a 'hand free' sign on the phone and a batery-sign in CF.
I always run CF as a shell, but running it not as a shell doesn't help, same problem. First I got 'Auto pairing' on, but now I got it on 'manually', that doesn't help, same problem.
The first time pairing never works (as shell AND not as shell, auto pair AND no auto pair). Than I close down CF, start it up again and then everyting works fine.
When I close down CF, I never unplug de dongle. I always leave it in the USB-port.
So the first time starting CF after starting the PC pairing never works and when I close CF and start it up again, everything works fine.
The first report is after starting up the PC and CF. The second report is after closing down CF, start it up again and everything is paired ok. I also uploaded a Report made with Everest of my PC.
Another problem which I experience is that the mic doesn't go loud enough while al the faders of CF and Windows are set to MAX..
Are the PC specs under your user name the same as the system you are reporitng this bug for Yes
If you answerd 'No' above, then please detail your system here
