Mini-ITX boards hibernation boot times

I've used many Mini-ITX boards of the years and wanted to see what other's boot times are using hibernation, since this is the most often used setting. Below are a couple of mine.

1. Via M12000 (1.2GHz) - 30+ seconds using hibernation
2. Via MP13000 (1.3GHz) - 35+ seconds using hibernation
3. Jetway J7F2WE1G5D (1.5GHz) - 15+ seconds using hibernation
4. Intel D945GCLF2 (1.6GHz) - 21+ seconds using hibernation

So far I'm really happy with the boot times of the Jetway board, at 15+ seconds it boots up pretty fast from hibernation.

I just bought the Intel board thinking since it was faster and duo core that it would boot up much quicker, but it did not. 21+ seconds is not bad, but it's 5+ seconds slower then the Jetway board.

Now, most people that use or get a CarPC complain about the boot times. So I started thinking, "I wonder what the boot times are of aftermarket system". So, I went to the local Frys and tested some out. The first one I tested was a Sony double din system. From the time I turned it on, to the time it was playing the radio, it took about 7 seconds. Not bad, but I'm sure that it would take longer if playing from a USB device/CD/or a movie.

I then tested a Kenwoord double din system, I believe. The device took 6 seconds for the radio to be heard, but a full 12+ seconds for the screen to be seen and the touchscreen to be active.

So, my conclusions are that with a CarPC booting in 15+ seconds is right up there with aftermarket systems. The problem that I see is that most users compare CarPCs boot times with regular old stereo systems that are up and running as soon as power is provided.
