I wouldn't wait till a software solution is coming out as with current release times of bluesloeil (who should provide this "inhouse solution"), can take another year or two...
By the way, software solutions in general have the downside that they use _A LOT_ of system resources, thus making the whole system slow and unstable. -Probably thats why there are no useful software solutions on the market.
Good setups cost investments in hardware, or does some of you use CF on a PII or so...?
