ATLANTA, GA - "Carbon Motors has selected Atlanta-based Flux Media Inc’s Centrafuse as the official user interface (UI) for the revolutionary E7, the world’s first purpose-built law enforcement patrol vehicle."
"Today there is very high complexity of equipment, systems and communications that an officer has to interact with in his or her patrol vehicle. To ensure that Carbon Motors’ goals of creating a safe and operationally efficient operating environment are met, it is critically important that a state of the art user interface is provided" commented Trevor J Rudderham, executive vice president and chief development officer for Carbon Motors. "We have chosen Flux Media and their Centrafuse UI platform to provide this functionality in the Carbon E7. Their application allows integration of mission-critical law enforcement system controls and additional functionality such as navigation and e-mail. That translates directly into a safe and easy to use interface."
"Providing our partners with a powerful, responsive and intuitive user experience, designed and tailored to their specific needs, is our ultimate goal", states Eric Breier, CEO and Co-Founder of Flux Media. "The Flux Media UI/UX design toolkit and the Centrafuse platform enable the rapid development and deployment of today’s complex converged devices and applications."
David McGowan, CTO and Co-Founder adds, "Managing and controlling the immense amount of mission-critical technology that’s packed into the E7 requires a platform scalable and powerful enough to deliver the right user interface for an environment as critical as the ****pit of a police vehicle."
