Hi.

I´ve tested your module and so far encontered 2 problems. When I switch to radio the volume boost to Max, and when I switch to Media the volume goes to minimum. I´m using the "Pre volume" as principal.

The buffer echo seems fixed. But when playing sound, sometimes I´m hit with some low frequency resonance that gets worse over time.

Thank you for testing.

The Silabs DLL gets confused and sets the wrong volume. I've noticed this and already have an update that doesn't change the volume.

I have no idea about the resonace. Does it stop on seek ? Any hints what it could be ?

A new version should be available in a few hours.

[and done]

The seek seemed to be working ok. I´ll test this new version. The other one almost blowed my speakers.

I'm very sorry about that.. I should be trying to make things better, not blow stuff up.

Thank you very much for taking the time to test this release.

In this release it sets the seeking threshold of the radio module. So it could be that seek doesn't find stations it used to (unlikely) or locks on a freq without station (or very weak). Any comment about this is welcome.

Any other issues, please let me know.

I don't have much time this weekend to create another release but should have time next week.

the low frequency issue might have been a eq buffer issue if using buffer mode... This was fixed in the 1.44 update...

I´ve already tested the new version. The volume issue is fixed, and the low resonance didn´t appear. The previous test I did was also with CF version 1.44.
Now it has another problem. When I switch from radio to media, and if I press the volume buttons, CF GUI hangs, so I cannot do anything more. Music from media continues to play. This with radio buffer On and Off.

The seek functions appears to be working fine. I cannot test this very well because I haven´t connected properly the antenna.

I've just tried to reproduce this issue but haven't succeeded. If you have any hints on how to reproduce the issue please let me know.

I have noticed that the radio module (hardware) can go into an unresponsive state. It doesn't happen often but during testing it has happened. I think this is what caused the issue. I'll continue to investigate this.

Because this "unresponsive state" is a bit harder to investigate/solve the next release will take a few days.

Also: The radio module has upgradeable firmware. To make sure it's loaded with the latest version download the Silabs radio player. This app will update the firmware if needed.
