email plugin does not show gmail mails
Hi,
I've setup the CF mail plugin to connect using IMAP to Gmail. This worked only for 1 time. When all mails were received and were readable, after a new restart of my PC, I could not see any of my mails. It was as if there was 0 mail in my inbox. I've tried sending new mail, the mail plugin does say receiving, but after ± 10 seconds it returns to "messages" I can send emails through the mail plugin, though ![]() I've even tried re-installing Centrafase after deinstalling it. Help?

post your error.log file in your LocalAppData folder under Centrafuse...
something must have happened with the email database... "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Centrafuse\error.log" david |

Hi David,
I am using 1.47 now and I thought it will solve the problem but it's still the same . My email list is completely empty even though it saying Receiving 1/267 Another thing is counting emails: Receiving 1/267 Receiving 1/266 Receiving 1/265 Receiving 1/264 Receiving 1/263 .. .. Receiving 2/63 Receiving 2/62 Very strange counting why not 1/267, 2/267, 3/267 Regards, Bartosz |

it is removing emails from the list and not storing them... Check how many days you have it set to keep in email settings... It will delete any emails older than todays date, minus that amount of days...

My guess is that the emails are being downloaded from the server in ascending order by date, which is why it takes forever to get through the old emails. IMAP v4 supports some server side filtering. I don't know what version gmail is using though. |
