Sirius Problem

I'm having an issue with the Sirius portion, v. 1.47 ...

The only channel available is 184 - weather. The link is good, because I get good reception on 184.

Using an SC-C1 with MJS's usb adapter. Testing with the program provided by Mitch shows that all of the stations load and update ...

I do have an error in my log about a COM error with the device. Not sure why ... Mitch's program didn't have any problems ... but that program needed .NET 2.0 before it would work ... (which, installing 2.0, I lost my CF license ... frustrating)

How do I go about fixing this? I've tried changing the COM port assigned to the usb adapter, and changing in CF ... but no luck.

Help?

I had a very similar problem when I was first setting up my Sirius via the MJS adapter and the SC-C1. What I did to fix it was to "reactivate" the radio while it was running on Centrafuse. Have the receiver working (audio on channel 184), then you can log into your account on www.sirius.com, go to your particular receiver (at the time, I had THREE active radios!), and one of the options is "resend activation signal" or words to that effect. You should hear the audio "hiccup" within a minute of the activation signal being sent and then Centrafuse will suddenly start to populate all the channels.

I think, once it was done, I still only had SOME of the channels so, I shut down and restarted and, after that, I had all channels on Centrafuse.

Don't know if it's the exact same problem I had but, I hope this helps.

Usually, the only major trick to this is that you need to have your car where it can be receiving a signal AND you need internet access to get to their website.

The good news is, once I got it working, it's been flawless since.

I will try it ... had Sirius Tech Support activate it 3 times ... no luck.

Doesn't make sense that Mitch's Serius Demo v.2.7.0.1 found here: http://www.rush2112.net/index.php?in...on_view&idev=1 polls the tuner fine, and gets stations back.

The error log will tell me more ... that will be tomorrow ...
