Pause button does nothing while playing mp3

I started an mp3 file out of my library. I tried pressing the pause button to pause the song. It doesn't work.. song keeps playing. The only way to stop the song is to switch to radio or XM module, or quit Centrafuse.

If you exit CF, come right back into Media, does it work then? Is this something that is just not working right from the get go? Or is there a pattern to replicate? It is working for me here...

Ok, I am unable to reproduce this error on my desktop pc with 2.0. I'm going to have to try to replicate with exact steps so I can isolate the cause in the car. Hopefully just a fluke. I'll keep you posted.

Scott, I have been able to reproduce this issue on the car pc, and have discovered an additional one...

As mentioned in my above post, I don't have the problem on my desktop pc. So I asked myself what is the difference between my setup on my desktop pc and car pc? Well, on my desktop pc I've only got about 25gb of my music in the library... on my car pc I've got all 100gb of my music files. Not sure why this would matter, but, perhaps it's too much for CF to handle right now?

Here are the steps to reproduce the issue on the car pc:
1. Start CF
2. Click on Music
3. Click on Artists
4. Pick any Artist
5. Pick any album from that artist
6. Select any song
7. Press play

The NEW issue which I didn't notice or mention before, is that the song starts playing, but it doesn't show up in the Playlist at all. The album name is in the title bar, but the song is not in the Playlist... the playlist is totally blank, even with the song playing. For testing purposes, I went back into My Library, chose a different artist and album, and this time chose the + button to add the whole album to the playlist. Upon returning to the Playlist screen, the Playlist is still blank. So that's the new bug.

And then finally, as originally mentioned in my original post, when any song is playing, the pause button does nothing at all.

I know it may be tough for you guys to help with this if you are unable to reproduce it, but if you guys could look into the possibility that the size of my library could be causing an issue, that would be great.

I have put your info into a bug report so we will look at this for sure...

Scott, I figured out what's causing this!! It's Enhanced Graphics mode! Don't ask me why... all I know is that I turned OFF Enhanched Graphics Mode and all of the above issues went away. Hope that helps you guys diagnose.

Scott, bad news... something is still up in RC3 with the Enhanced Graphics and my Music Library, very strange. Now, if I have Enhanced Graphics turned on, and I press the Music button, I see the spinning circle for about 5 seconds, and then the circle just goes away and nothing happens... the Music menu does not open. If I turn OFF Enhanced Graphics, problem is gone. Does this warrant a flux report? Let me know and I'll get it right away.
