Soleil stack crashing in XP, + question about using it with bluetooth headset

The Soleil stack is crashing periodically in XP. Centrafuse keeps running; it's the stack itself. I don't have the error exactly, but it's the standard "SolielCS has encountered a problem and needs to close" XP error. I am using the dbt-120, so it shouldn't be that. The last time it crashed was during an incoming call.

Another question: can I use Centrafuse to show incoming calls and allow me to dial, but not use the handsfree option. I want to keep using my bluetooth headset while in the car.

Thx.

I've been haing the same issue. Sometimes the BT stack will crash all of a sudden. CF will still run though.

That is exactly how I want to have my phone working. Using the CarPC just to control the phone and the headset for talking/hearing the call. This will get rid of the issues with echo, etc.

Concerning the crash: Please enable event logging in phone settings by setting "LogEvents" to ON. Then after crash, please generate a system report from Advanced Settings and post the generated .flux file.

Concerning your question about using a bt headset and using CF just to answer/dial/etc: This is not supported yet as it requires the use of a bluetooth serial channel, right now we only use the handsfree channel which is bound to the SCO audio.

So, how can I use my BT headset as a MIC?

I don't want to use a wired mic because it will be too far from me and it will get more noise then a headset.

Currently this is all that is supported as we were looking to roll out a basic, working phone solution. Once that is solid, the other bluetooth items, such as yours wanting to use CF only as call control, will be developed...

Serial needed for phone? Not sure...

I was loaned a bmw 335 last week while getting some work done on my car. I paired up my phone to the nav system in it, and all of my contacts were transferred to the car correctly. This was with only the handsfree service. There was no serial port service set up between the car and my phone. So, are you 100% sure you need the serial service to do these different things with the phone integration? Is it a Bluesoleil limitation?

I think he did. The answer is that it's all or nothing right now. Either you use your phone for headset and dialing/answering, or you don't use it at all. It's disappointing; hopefully, they'll bring better support soon. This is the biggest feature I'm looking forward to .

Just tried RC2 with my laptop. Phone works fine. The only problem now is the stupid microphone echo heard while on calls.
