WiFi plugin + D-Link DWA-140

Why can't the WiFi plugin find my D-Link DWA-140 wireless adaptor?

I'm using the default Win Vista config app. No extra software, drivers only.

Previously I used the D-Link DWL-G122 wireless adaptor and it worked fine.

Yesterday I've made a clean install of CF RC4.
The wireless adaptor still couldn't be found by CF.
Then I set the new "delay on resume" option to "3000" and set the CPC into hibernation mode in hope that my GMS device would work after resume.
When is was ready again I've tested the nav and could directly get a gps signal.
(Good work! btw. )

Then I tested the WiFi plugin again and it worked!!

The wireless adaptor is a usb device. So could that delay be the reason why it is working now??

I'll move this to the bug forum then. Though, I'm not sure what could be causing it, maybe David or Scott might know.

Yep, your usb devices need time to re-initialize when windows resumes. And depending on which windows receive messages first that the system is resuming, centrtafuse may init before the usb devices get a chance to finish, etc, etc, this is so totally system dependent that thats why we decided to put the customizable delay in. I'm glad it helped you out.

So, everything is working for you now?

Yes, everything works now on the hardware side!
Still got some issues with CF (i.e. is take much time to open the video library) but i will wait till the final is out.
