RC4 - No Sat Radio audio (sometimes) when switching from HD Radio
I'm not sure if this is related to my earlier posted problem regarding the Sat Radio audio stream being heard when switching from Sat Radio to HD Radio (see this post) but, sometimes (not always) when CF boots to the HD Radio (and works fine) I get no audio when I switch to Sat Radio. The CF button "beeps" work but, no audio from the Sat Radio receiver. Channel listing populates and the scroll up top updates...just no audio. Exit CF and restart it and it works fine.
I don't know how many folks are using both the Visteon HD Radio receiver and the SC-S1 Satellite Radio receiver but, they don't seem to want to play nice together. I don't know if something's conflicting or if CF is just getting confused with multiple Line-In's. I apologize for not posting a log file. We just got home and it's pretty late here. I've got to go to work early tomorrow and then leave from work to head out of town for a few days. Won't be able to get one posted until the weekend. Is anyone else running both receivers? Are you having similar problems? I'm still not sure if it's a problem with CF or my configuration. But, I can get either one to work...I just can't switch back and forth between them reliably.

see my reply on your other thread...
Please post the system report of this particular sequence of events where sirius is now the one where there is no output... Do you not have more than 1 input on your Realtek sound card? If so, even if not avialble to use in the long term, configure HD and Sat to use lines from this soundcard (dont use USB soundcard), see if the problem goes away... |

The onboard (RealTek) only has a single Line-In (and the Sat Radio is using it).
Here's the system report when I switched over to Sat Radio but had no audio.

Scott,
I posted my sound card information in my other "audio switching problem" thread as well as a system log. If you think these two issues are the result of the same problem, do you want to just close this thread down and we'll work just on the other problem, going on the assumption that fixing that will fix this? Or do you want to continue to attack both problems separately?
