RC4 Hang when resuming from hibernate ONLY with NAV route in progress

Ok, this is a weird one, but I have managed to successfully re-create it multiple times.

If my computer hibernates while I'm on the Nav screen while I have a route in progress, when the computer resumes, CF will hang. Destinator does NOT hang and continues to give me route info except without sound. The last song will also continue to play, but as soon as it's finished it will not play the next song (i assume this is because the BASS subsystem is still working). This happens consistently.

I have some work-arounds, however.
1) Cancel the route or
2) Hit the home button to go back to the main menu.

I'd provide a system report, but how do I get one while CF is hung?

Maybe CF needs to detect that the system is hibernating and before doing so, jumps back to the main screen?

please post a system report, just re-open cf after killing it after the hang, create the report, and post it up. It will still contain info from the last hibernation event...

Killing CF is not so easy without a keyboard and mouse. I'll pack one in the car tonight and do some 'debugging'.

well you dont have to kill it i guess, just create the report the next time you run Centrafuse.

That will have everything you need? Cool. That's easier. Stay tuned.

yep it will contain info from the last runtime still... it keeps logs of the last 2 runtimes... also, update to RC5 and see if that changes anything...

Not yet. I think I'm the busy man on the planet at the moment. Next to you fine people of course.

I have to pull the computer out of my car to get anything off of it, which unfortunately requires me to be at home at some point and between work and travel, this just doesn't seem to happen. I'm hoping tomorrow nite I'll get time.

Yes, I have a USB port. No I don't have a usb memory stick. Silly, I know, especially for someone with the amount of tech I have.

I have remedied this however and now have a USB bus powered 2.5" HDD enclosure with a 30GB disk in it. That should take care of things.

More on this bug though, it seems that it is also doing it at other times as well, not just when Navigation has a route in progress. It is definitely more consistent when there is a route though. I have attached a system report which does not have a route in progress but was just after rebooting from a system hang.

Just to clarify what happens, when I return from hibernation everything starts up fine and music continues to play, but the CF interface is completely non-responsive. Once the current song is finished, nothing happens. If the NAV window was open at the time of hibernation, NAV will continue to work but without audio. This seems to happen about 50% of the time now.

I'm still on RC4 (haven't had time to upgrade yet) but will be putting on the latest and greatest tonight (i keep saying that). I'll post up my experiences with RC6.1 to let you know if it's still a problem or not.

I hope that's enough info. Now for the system report.
