RC5 - USB playlists count

Hi. I´m having the following problem with the USB and CD-ROM playlist count. I have an external USB dvd-Ram drive. When I plug a USB stick, sometimes the CD-ROM playlist count is increase instead of the USB. Sometimes when I remove the CD from the drive or unplug the USB stick, the playlist cout remains the same. Only if i restart CF, the playlist count is correct. Didn´t have this problem with CF1.47.

Thanks !

Any updates? System Report?

EDIT: By chance, does a file "Track01.cda" exist on your usb drive? Or, does a file "Track01.cda" not exist on your cd?

Sorry to post just now. Have being out.

It seems to happen only if a disc is insert on the drive. If the drive has no cd, it works fine. The cds have .cda files and the USB pen don´t.

Thanks.

ok you have .cda files on cd, but make sure the exact title exists "Track01.cda". Does that exact name file appear on your disc?

EDIT: Looking more at you log, I see this:

01:57:92> MUSIC: loadSong(): filename=F:\30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill.mp3, songname=30 Seconds To Mars - The Kill, songindex=0, iscd=False, loadpaused=False, Music.currentext=MP3, Music.mode=1, videomode=False

where F: is your cd drive.

That's an mp3 it's loading from your cd. Are you telling me there are .cda and .mp3 files on this cd? You didnt mention it was an mp3 cd. I am guessing that you don't have any .cda files on the cd I'm looking at in the log, either that, or they aren't named likea real cd. If it's a real "CD", then it will have a file on it named "Track01.cda". If you burned this cd yourself with mp3's, then it's nothing more than misc. drive, which is just viewed as a USB drive by Centrafuse. Please confirm for me that this cd has "Track01.cda" on it.

That music, 30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill.mp3, I have only in the hard disc, which is not the F: drive. And yes, the cd has a "track01.cda". When I ejected the cd, the the counter was not decreased.

I´ve changed recently the DVD drive to a Sata box, because I was having problems with the USB power. So I cannot test it anymore in the same conditions.

ah, good, well, not good, but now we are pointed in the right direction. Somehow, CF is trying to reference that song on the F: drive, even though it isnt there... hmmm... will look more into this...
