And again (argh!!!!!! this is driving me nuts).

I turned off my car with the radio playing (buffer enabled but playing live). About 5 hours later I turned my car back on and it resumed from standby. The radio in CF correctly showed "Live", but the radio would not play or respond to input.

Any chance of at least a "reinitialize radio" button so I don't have to completely restart CF a few times a week when this happens? Thanks.

have you tried to drastically increase your Resume Delay in Advanced settings? This will delay when it try's to init your radio, giving it more time to init...

also if USB make sure it's plugged into a powered hub...

david

I just changed from a 3-second to 8-second delay, so I'll test that for a week. But it's bad enough to have to wait for the PC to resume from standby, without an extra 8 seconds - compared to a stock radio that starts playing in less than a second. I use the plain radio at least as much as I do music.

The hub can be powered, but I don't have a way to power it.

nintwala will become famous soon enough
Just wanted to remind you that the delay is in milliseconds so I am assuming you are putting 5000 or 8000 for the delay. Right?

I have also seen some radio units just plan not work everytime unless on a powered HUB or plugged directly into the motherboard, especially HQCT, they do it for sure...

Happened again (-29:59 buffer issue); log attached. The radio delay was set to a lengthy 8 seconds. I think that I resumed with the radio playing, and then switched to music and back to radio, and the buffer soon jumped back to -29:59.

I should point out that there are 2 issues going on:

1.) (Original symptom.) The radio buffer jumps to -29:59 but keeps playing. (This is what happened for the attached log.)

2.) (Symptom described in posts #7,9,10,11.) The radio buffer does not jump back to -29:59, but the radio stops playing and fails to respond to input until CF is restarted.

The radio-stops-playing-and-doesn't-respond-to-input bug happened again, even with the radio delay set to 8 seconds.

Since the huge delay doesn't help, I'm setting it down to 1 second.

Standard - Satellite Radio - XM radio jumping to -29:59

Please give a brief description of the issue here
XM radio jumping to -29:59

Which product are you experiencing this problem with
Standard

What version of Centrafuse are you running
2.0.806

What module in Centrafuse are you experiencing this issue in
Satellite Radio

Are you able to reproduce this bug at will
No

What were you doing when you encountered the bug
This is a strange one. I've had this issue happen now about 10 times and I wasn't touching the computer at the time (any of them) that the problem occurs.

Now to describe the problem:
I'll be driving down the road, listening to the XM. All of a sudden, the audio switches from Live to -29:59. Again, I haven't been touching the computer while this happens.

I've attached my system report.

Are the PC specs under your user name the same as the system you are reporting this bug for
Yes

If you answerd 'No' above, then please detail your system here
