I'm using the Visteon HD Radio (shown in my profile's CarPC Specs).
But I don't think that's the issue, since even the tuning button on the Radio module in CF doesn't bring up the UI to manually enter a station. The problem happened *again* today. |

it would have to do with your radio... When you resume, it calls the Init command for your specific radio device, if it does not get a valid respond on Init, the Radio module, on purpose, shuts down all functionality because it failed to init the radio device...
try to increase the Resume delay in Advanced settings, this may give your Radio device more time to come back after resume before Centrafuse try's to talk to it... david |

Okay, I'm changing the radio delay from 2 seconds to 3 seconds and will try it for a few days.
But I really think you guys should put an error message up when the radio initialization fails, such as: "Radio initialization failed. You may need to increase the Resume Delay in Radio Settings." And have 2 buttons such as: [OK] and [Try again] I think that would save people a lot of frustration. |

I see in your error.log all the timeouts trying to talk to the radio hardware...
I wanted to see if the resume code was properly being called, we did improve the resume functionality in the next update, so this could be fixed by that... when you create system reports for Centrafuse, make sure you are running with logging enabled either in Settings, or with the -logevents flag added to the shortcut... it is all in the FAQ as well... we disable logging by default because it makes the application run faster when not having to log everything constantly... david |
