So I re-created the directory and added a few files. I re-imported the directory, rebuilt the library, and CF still crashes when I go to the Media Library.
I repaired the installation as well, and it still crashes. I don't want to do a fresh install -- any suggestions? |

So I added a few more songs (12 total in the library, to be exact) and it seems to be working fine now. It took an extremely long time (about a full minute?) to load the library, but it works. Not sure what else happened

this might not be the best option, but delete (or move if you want to save them to possibly go back to them) your settings folder at:
[localappdata]/centrafuse This will restore your settings to default... |

I had the same as I removed my music directory and I even closed CF before doing that and recreated an empty directory with the same name before restarting CF.
As it kept crashing I deleted the whole profile and then it worked again, altough I had to re-configure every setting again of course. Same happens when you reformat your ipod and load all the songs on it again, since the directory structure changes then. Although CF is a great product and running quite stable now, I really hope that the developers look into exception handling in the near future as CF "crashs + running in shell mode" is a very nasty combination...

this has been fixed in the next update... if it can't play a song for whatever reason, moved, deleted, corrupt, it will move onto the next item in the list, after a number of items in a row do not work it will eject the playlist therefore fixing the crash and loop of trying to play files that do not exist...
