Problem with Destinator PN maps
Hi.
I don't know if this is a bug or not. I'm using the Greek destinator PN maps from my PDA. These maps are designed by NGI. The problem that I'm facing is that when I go to select and address for a destination, the address fields on the left are empty (black with white lines). The maps show up correctly on the display. Is there a work around for this? |

Those maps are not fully compatible with the engine. The ones included in the commerical release will be...
It has to do with the version and how they were compiled not working exactly right with my object. david |

Will you be offering NGI maps for Greece or Navtec maps?
Navtec maps only cover a few sities whereas NGI maps are far superior and cover around 90% of Greece in routing capabilities and POIs. Also NGI updates it's maps every 6 months. I hope that you will be offering NGI maps for Greece because the navigation engine is the main reason I will be bying CF when it become available. I hope that something can be worked out with the map data. |

Navtec might have improved their covarage of Greece but are noway near what NGI is offering at this time. Even my old NGI Destinator3 maps have way better coverage that Navtec PN map. NGI is a Greek company and takes pride at what it is offering to the Greek public. To bad that you will only be offering NAVTEC maps for Greece.

David I know that you are a busy man and Greece is a small market but did you have a chance to see the situation about the NGI maps? I was waiting a long time for the app to come along, it seem such a shame not to be able to use it due to the maps. |

I have a similar problem with Australia maps...damn...CF1.6 worked :-)
Will you be looking at adding the Australia maps to the Commercial release? Oh yeah, I also cannot get my Bluetooth GPS to talk with CF1.7 - it has got me beat...I had it working perfectly with CF1.6...it seems impossible to troubleshoot...it works with the laptop version of CoPilot on the same PC...any ideas? Using Port 23 One more question...Phone Control will pick up my phone...but will not find the Port ...Port 20...I tested the port with the phoneControl Tester...communicated fine...and I actually did have it working before (somehow)...any ideas on that one? I had CF1.6 working really well...it would be great to get CF1.7 to work...had the touchscreen installed in my car already for full testing...bummer... :-( P.S. I did update the Bluetooth drivers instead of using the standard Windows Bluetoth driver...I have tried uninstalling and using the old driver...no go...I think it made things worse... |
