Accessing media, going to the navi, and changing the volume all caused the initial exit. After that I would go in to this loop of break point exits after each launch there-after. As soon as I get to my car, I will try to gather up the info.

I have been researching the subject ... and I am sure that the problem is what comes to play WMA. The breakpoint is generated when you import a CD AUDIO that generates WMA files. And when we play, it generates the breakpoint.
I hope they would help to solve this problem .. thanks. triky |

After investigating the phenomenon of the breakpoint I have thought about a problem of runtime WMA codecs. So I deleted the WMA files generated with CENTRAFUSE and I've installed the new codecs RUNTIME 11 WMA.
I rebooted, and I have re-generate the same WMA files. With such a clean solution, the problem has been solved. I hope this solution may shed some light on our friends SALVI and crusetech. Thank you. triky. I forgot to put the link -> http://www.free-codecs.com/download/..._Format_11.htm Download, install and try!. Last edited by trikyman; October 12th, 2008 at 03:48 PM. |

Man, no input from the Flux guys? Support???
I have been testing to try to isolate the issue but I can't find something that recreates the problem at the exact point. All the WMA files that I have have not been ripped using Centrafuse, the music was just simply copied over from another computer. Th shizznet that gets me mad is that this was not happening in RC7 at all and now it is with the final build, so I don't see how it's a music problem. These guys must have changed something from RC7 to the final build. To try your solution is going to take a while since I have a lot of music in different folders and going through all of it will be a little time consuming. I'll give it a try but I'm so close to just uninstalling this and simply going back to RC7. I have almost come to the point of going back to RuadRunner

there were no major audio engine changes from RC7 to the final, so all the feedback to help track it down to a small change is helpful...
we have many more users without issues, than ones having issues, so it is something specific and small causing the issue... we apologize for the delay, and will be active in the bugs thread this week to get these issues wrapped up for the coming update... can everyone try to make sure they are running the latest WMP version just to see if that makes any difference? david |

I updated to Windows Media Player 11 and so far the issue has not happened. I played the music folder that almost always would create this issue and nothing has happened yet.
So, update to the latest Windows Media Player! If this is the solution, maybe you guys should make this a requirement? |
