And, again, I don't care about the data itself.

Once the new engine is released, what about the single-file map to go with it? Can I get the single-file map for the current data I already have?

Hell - I run CoPilot v9. That data is from mid-2005 and I do just fine with it.

Yes - they will run as an external app (except for CoPilot) but they are HORRIBLE to try to use on a touchscreen. Trust me, I've tried. In fact, I have them setup to run right now.

Besides - I paid the extra money FOR the navigation. If I had known that the navigation would cause the problems it does, I wouldn't have went for it. I would've only bought the SE version.

yes this is what i was saying.... your problem is with destinator itself not the maps, and they are working on it and will give you a FREE upgrade to the new engine as soon as they get it which should help you. also last i checked CF does support microsoft maps i think you just change the nav engine in advanced setup.... and their are plugins for others such as iguidance
