CF Wiki?

Have you guys thought of launching a CF Wiki? I think it would be beneficial for the community for learning how to work stuff, different items within CF, and also things to do with the CarPC hobby itself.

That is all =D

I've thought about the Wiki myself. My biggest issue is having too many places to go to find the information. Then, we something is updated...remembering to go to every place and update it.

I've been building the FAQ (see link in the NavBar) instead.

There also isn't a current good solution for integrating the Wiki and vBulletin. The only solution out there seems to no longer be in development.

I'm definitely all for a wiki. Kill the long winded FAQ page and start doing a wiki. the beauty of a wiki is that you wont need to update it there and %somewhere else- someone else in the community will!

Yeah definitely, no questions asked, no reason not to do it. Maybe because of the initial transfer of data into it, but I really only think that would take a few weeks with the communities help.

Here's part of the issue - unless we can verify that ALL information is correct, we cannot use it as a reference for customers.

Take the Mp3Car Wiki for example....there's information in there that is not correct, or is blatantly added as wrong.

Yeah you're right but that's the life of a model. Than you lock down FAQ or tech pages.
