"HOT KEYS" for plug-ins?

I understand that there is no way to set a plug-in to work off a hot key.

I use centrafuse with Iguidance 4 and a space navigator (RCB9 driver). I have the phone, media, voice control, Volume, mute, etc set to the space navigator and would like to tie Iguidance to it too.
Does anyone know of a way to make this work? Can this feature be added to the next Rev?

What do you want it to do to iGuidance? You can set CF to run an external application from a hotkey but unfortunatley CF cannot control iGuidance. IGuidance should have its own set of hotkeys to carry out functions, so if you can find out what those are and make sure they dont conflict with CF in any way then you can add those to the Space Nav and control Iguidance from there. If it doesnt have hotkeys then there's an app called IGKeys I think that does hotkeys for Iguidance that you might want to look at.

I want the space navigator to switch Centrafuse between the playlist screen and the iguidance screen.

There is a hotkey to load the playlist screen and IF you set up iguidance as an external app then there is also a hotkey for that. But I guess you are using the iguidance plugin and there are no hotkeys to load plugins at this point in time.

I have mine set up to scroll through the menu's with up and down arrow hotkeys and push in set to enter hotkey so I can select a menu item. This way I can run anything fairly quickly rather than only a few of the built in apps.

Best bet would be to enter a feature request in the requests and suggestions forum.

I put it in the request. I think I'll try the arrow key trick for awhile and see how it feels.
