Will Centrafuse 3 not kill Windows Aero like 2 does?
Seems Aero is disabled and goes to "basic" with CF open, and as soon as its closed Aero comes back on. Google indicated some computer applications not fully compatible do this.

I noticed this on Win7, but you don't use windows while you are in CF anyway so it should be fine.

I agree........ To speed up my system I have my Windows set on classic with all the fancy $h!+ disabled, it simply isnt needed. With CF3 and its amazing skin engine, AERO wont even matter.

That is correct, you won't need it, and to get the most power from a CarPC, you'd want to disable Aero anyway.

I just read that we have to pay a further $49.99 for the upgrade, is that correct?
I already paid $149.99 for the standard edition which is now available for $62.50! I hope I am not expected to pay another $49.99 to upgrade?!

It depends on when you purchased it. Before or after August 2009? Before, odds are that you will be paying the $49.99 like the rest of us. After, then you get a free upgrade.

That's more than enough motivation for me.... purchased the standard version 2 minutes ago. Tried going back to RR, that lasted about 3 days. I've been spoiled. Back to CF for me. Now on to skinning....

Why did you pay 149.99 for standard? Are you in another country? All I can say is, I bought the Standard version, then the NAV version (stimulus sale) so I paid alot also, but $49.99 isnt bad at all. Thats very very fair to me. Especially since its pretty advanced (CF3).

I agree. $49.99 is a great upgrade price for what your getting. I also payed $62 for the standard version about 5-6 months ago. I will gladly pay $49.99 for an upgrade and possibly include navigation depending on how it is handled.
