I agree with you 100%. Flux isn't retarded and understands that people run lower systems due to power consumption and what not. I cant imagine them killing their customer base to look more pretty on the screen.

thanks for the feedback... we just released this viral video, we will have full information about Centrafuse 3 coming soon in a news article...
all the lag on the video is because it was recorded and encoded and the recording software added that, the transitions are very smooth...
also they should work just fine on all the same systems that Centrafuse works with now...
also keep in mind this is a sneak peak and not a finished skin, not finished icons, etc... this is just what it says it is, a sneak peak...
the biggest addition will be the new skin engine, there will be about 8 animations/transitions available to all skinners, some containing up 15 parameters... these will also be available to plugin developers... this will allow for skins/plugins with just about every animation/transition a user can think of... there will also be full flexibility to put any label/action on any screen you want in the interface...
so skins for Centrafuse will have unlimited possibilities...
we are working to pick the new Navigation engine, and also working on a new Navigation interface to allow easily the integration of multiple Navigation platforms...
we will not stop working on Centrafuse 2, and new updates/fixes will be out shortly for Centrafuse 2...
all Centrafuse 2 functionality will be in Centrafuse 3, and you will be able to turn off all animations/transitions for any skin, so no worries about it running on your machine if you currently use Centrafuse...
this is work on XP/Vista and plans for other platforms coming later this year...
there will be a very affordable upgrade price, I would not let a sneak peak video hold you back from purchasing Centrafuse now...
more to come...

Good work David and co, cant wait!!!!
I hope you choose Garmin for your navigation. Please dont choose something that only has US maps or very few world maps available. Please.
Keep up the good work.

Who knows, maybe this time its their own software. A true 100% CF Navigation. It would make sense and be very car friendly. If not I hope its CoPilot 11, That seems to be cool, although I have never tried it. You can track people with CP 11. I also think you can get traffic updates also, but have to have internet for alot of the services.

Any chance you could elaborate a little on "other platforms"? Linux? OSX? Both?

I hope that they will not use CoPilot nav engine, vbecause Im quick look on thein web page and on maps are only North America maps, so with this choise they will lose all other potential buyers...

The best thing they can do is run a nav engine that supports maps worldwide and updates them regularly and the only company I know that qualifies is Garmin. The engine will obviously need an SDK available I guess though, but apparently the Garmin Mobile XT SDK can be used with the QueAPI.dll from GMPC.
