MP3 play option enhancements.

Hey there:

I gotta say I love the product, and am anxiously awaiting the next release of the beta code (and the one after that and the official 2.0 release). I thought I would toss in an enhancement request which I saw on an Dension MP3 head unit that I thought was really cool.

They had a button on their MP3 player called "Album". If you were on random play and heard a song you liked, you could press the "Album" button and it would then play the rest of the album (or CD). Then it would return to random mode.

I thought that this is great as I have about 1200 CDs worth of music and sometimes when I hear a tune, I want to hear the rest of the disc.

What would be great is a couple of other buttons perhaps one called "Artist" that would allow you to switch to listening to all the songs by an artist or group when it is pressed until you turn it off again. Then if the random mode plays a tune by an artist that I really like and have not heard for a while, I could hit the button to play other songs by the same artist.

I have been playing with similiar ideas... currently I am thinking about when you hear a song you like you can click the main title area, which is really large and displays the current song, and it will give you a list of all that artists albums... you could pick one or listen to them all...
