HQCT : (High Quality Car Tuner) Support.
It looks like someone finally made a car quality am/fm tuner. What are the chances of getting support built in to Centrafuse for this. See link below for details.
http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=235
Now from what I know Radiator doesn't support AM so how hard would it be to add a new plugin to centrafuse to control this and give us the option for AM.
Thanks

It might be possible, but I still have to finish the upcoming version, release it, and then start working with the radio...
I have not powered it up or looked at any code on how to communicate with it yet... I am hoping it will not be too difficult to integrate and I can get working on it after I release 1.7...

Have you had a chance to try out the HQCT yet? Just wondering if you've made any progress on incorporating it into Centrafuse.

It will be done soon... Check the Future Features thread to keep track with priorities
Centrafuse Future Features
I already have the DRM working, so HQCT is second on that list....
The next release I plan to focus on fixing all the XM issues and the DRM playback will function, then HQCT module will be built...

OK just installed RC4.1 and set up the HQCT. Now for the problems.
1. It will only tune the last channel I set with the source software that came with the HQCT. It attempts to change the channel(I think) but it always stays where I set it last.
2. How do I set the presets?
But on a good note at least now it turns the radio on and off like it should.
Thanks

It was intitial support and the source code for the Radio Module is included in the SDK you can download from the website by joining the FDN...
It uses two DLL files that another programmer is writing and working on... As that project matures, this will as well...
To set the presets you hold down for 2 on a preset and a keyboard will popup to let you name it different if you want, hit ok, and it should be saved...
