Advanced settings

I personally think that Flux needs to remove the need to either add the "-advsettings" and the holding the "+" button in order to access the full settings in CF. The main reason is pretty clear (at least to me) - I see at least one posting per day with someone asking how to get to the full settings which were available when they first installed CF.

Yes, I know how to do it and so do all the other seasoned users, but make it easy on people.

Or:

Add an option in the initial setup to enable the advanced settings automatically for the users. Just add something that pops up and explains/asks about it while doing the initial setup.

Or:

In the settings window, add an on/off option to enable the advanced settings. Make this visible all the time.

we agree... in 2.1 it is easier, the bottom of the settings list clearly says Advanced Settings and you just select it and click setup or double click, so it will be WAY easier to find, the hold feature will also stay there...

we have a note to give an option during install also, but that will probably show up in 2.1 since are trying not to add anything else at this point and just get it out...

heheh - good deal. It's nice to see a company that sees a trend and reacts to it on their own rather than just let it continue.

While I consider myself an advanced user and I added the -advsettings to my shortcut, I completely agree.

And I think the quoted option would be the best solution!
