Sound Blaster Live 24 bit USB works perfectly for me. Just as a note though, the disk that came with mine came with buggy drivers and buggy software. i recently ordered a new disk (the old one had a huge scratch) and it had new drivers and software. Now the card is 100% stable.

Do any of the usb/firewire cards listed above control the front, rear, center etc volumes from windows xp volume control thus allowing full CF volume control in ver 2.0806.
Apart from the Creative soundblaster live 24 as I have one of those and this will not work, only front left and right.

Jan, I would like to know how you test, because it has to be working to test
what kind of bench set ups do you have for testing?

I test with what's in my car and what I have lying around. The rest of the people here at Centrafuse do the same.

We simply cannot go and buy a ton of sound cards, a ton of motherboards, a ton of monitors, etc. etc. and test them all. We don't have the time nor the funds to do this at this point.
