I'm using a pair of ASUS Xonar sound cards...
As far as I can tell, no issues and great performance.
Running two cards though give too many sliders in the mixer window (they run off the screen it seems)...

Thank you for this. Come on folks, post up your successes!

As for me..
Onboard sound on the VIA VB7001 motherboard does not fully work. With HD Radio, the "record line in" device list does not show all the options needed. Im able to get playback of HD Radio, but cannot use buffer mode therefore the EQ sliders have no effect on the HD Radio sound..

I have been using a Realtek Onboard HD Audio card with 7.1 Channels. It has been working pretty well for me. I am unable to use the audio card in 4 channel mode but its probably because I need to connect everything correctly.

The list is empty because I haven't populated it with the provided information yet...

We made this post to try and generate a list of supported devices. We simply don't have the resources to dedicate to buying and testing sound cards or to have someone do all of that work. Thus the reason for generating a user compiled list.

I'm using my on-board RealTek and it works. I bought an inexpensive USB sound card to get a second line-in for my HdRadio. Been having lots of problems (see this post) with CF not switching or activating the line-in's reliably. David suggested that I buy a different sound card but, I don't know which one to get. I've asked for a recommendation but have yet to hear anything.

I don't know what to do. You only have 2 USB sound cards listed (USB is the only option I've got). One is discontinued (the Audio Advantage Roadie appears to have been replaced with the Audio Advantage SRM...which is an untested sound card), the other The Sound Blaster Extigy is $169.00. Sorry, I'm not going to spend $169 to get my $50 receiver working!

If there was a high-quality sound card that gave me multiple line-in's/mic in's, that would be perfect...and I'd be willing to shell out some $$$ for it and do everything with one sound card.

I need a line-out, a mic-in, and two line-in's. Haven't seen anything like that.

Ive got a USB Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Roadie that I used when I had a laptop as my PC. Since I now have a MiniITX machine, I no longer use the Turtle Beach Roadie.

I would consider selling it if you are interested. If so, let me know. I can post an eBay auction to make it safer if you want. Here is my eBay world page:
