Radio Devices

These radio devices have been tested and are compatible with Centrafuse:

AM/FM

HQCT (High Quality Car Tuner) - http://direct.xtronic.be/products/hqct-am-fm-usb-radio.html
RadioXtreme USB - http://www.radio-xtreme.com/RadioXtreme.htm
D-Link DSB-R100 - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...488VF?v=glance
Silabs USBRadio - http://www.silabs.com/tgwWebApp/publ...USBFMRadio.htm
ADS FM Radio Recorder - http://www.adstech.com/products/RDX-...pid=RDX-155-EF
Any radio devices supported by Radiator, 3rd Party Application - http://flesko.cz/

HD Radio

HDR-RS232 serial cable connected to the following devices:

The HQCT is the recommended radio device for Centrafuse.
RadioXtreme USB does not require drivers, simply plug it in. The D-Link requires drivers be installed and to use a radio supported by Radiator you need to download, install, and setup Radiator before setting it up in Centrafuse.

Directed HD tuner

What software/drivers/config are needed to get the Directed HD radio tuner to function. I bought the special cable already to go to COM1, but after that, I am a little lost.

I looked through the General settings, the AM/FM settings, and in the root of the Settings themselves. I can't find an "enable advanced settings". I am running the latest release as of 4 days ago. *shrugs*

Yeah, it is a little goofy to do. Would be better to have a very small button somewhere or something like that. Instead of a total top secret back-door. Anyway, I did get it to work after enabling the advanced settings and choosing HD Radio. I have no antenna, so reception was terrible, but it turned on and off and changed stations just like it should. SWEEEEEEEET!

The Advanced settings were put into place as a requirement for a vendor. It did not make sense to have a completely different build for them and for the rest of the world.

However, now that some time has passed and other items have been removed from the to-do list, adjusting the way the Advanced settings are handled is being looked at.

I cannot give a date, nor an estimate, I can just say that it is being looked at.
