This plugin allows you to record and save GPX files to any location on your PC.
At the moment this is in a very BETA-like stage, although I've worked on it for a little while I haven't been able to test it in it's (perhaps) finished stage. None the less I'm putting it out there for people to test and get back to me with the results.
UPDATE 1.1 (2009-08-18)
- Fixed Date issue showing as 01-01-0001, it should now record the correct Date/Time for the track and all track points
- Fixed GPS Connection indicator to correctly show when a GPS fix is found
- Added 'Speed' value to GPX file. this is tagged with simply <speed>
I've also only included the Aura skin version, I have a half complete Onyx Skin version which I can finish off if anyone would like it.
Features/How to use:
- You can set the name and description of the track. It would be preferred to do this before you set off but if the name is not filled in it will be requested upon completion
- After clicking start and with each checkpoint you will be asked for a Name/Description of the location. If you do not wish to say anything you can leave it blank.
- The track image will be displayed in the center of the screen and also saved along with the GPX file should you want to use it.
- Don't forget to set your name (author), GPS Connection details and GPX Files location before you begin use.
- To support off-roading activities, this plugin requires a unique COM Connection to your GPS. You can do this with X-Port.
Known Issues:
- Currently uses the same icon as Lap-Time. I'll make a custom one for it ASAP!

I expect there will be a couple of teething problems with this plugin (as GPS apps often do), so I really appreciate feedback and hearing any problems you have.
