In short, these are the devices that will work with Centrafuse. Many people have had great luck with the EmlScan 5, which runs on the ELM327 chipset.

In case anyone wants to look up compatibilty info, scantool.net also has this page: http://www.scantool.net/browseCV.html
As Jan said, the Elmscan 5's are great. I have the USB model that covers all the protocols, been using it with CF for months now w/o issue.

Missing Protocol w/ ELM

From what I've seen in this thread ... ELM is missing support for ISO 14230(KWP2000) and the 5-baud flavor, SKWP. Anyone had any problems?

hey guys, is it possible to use "Auterra DashDyno SPD"? I like this one because it has trouble codes as well.

Umm, that's an all-in-one stand-alone unit. The "windows software" option is something that's specific to Auterra (I use a different one of their devices) and it's not a standard datalink pass-through. There's much more info at the Auterra link: DashDyno SPD

CF requires an "ELM" chip interface to talk to and pick data from. If you're concerned about trouble codes, I don't know of an OBD-II interface that _doesn't_ support them. I have a few, and personally, the one from OBDPros is my favorite: OBDPros
