Are those suction cups and another antenna that you have to put across your window?

Yes or hide in your "A" pillars or headlining above the windscreen if you want to stealth the antenna location.

But as Terran pointed out previously there are car/automobile antenna adapter cables available that allow your to use the vehicles antenna instead by "breaking into" the HU/Radio coax.

I am sure you guys have tested this around here in Atlanta right? I might be interested in making this purchase if it is stable and works well for Atlanta Traffic.
I can not stand 285.... it's quite possibly the worst interstate to be on...

Point of clarifcation:

As I read it

Currently CF RC4 supports TMC, which is free for Europe except the UK. Does CF yet support TMCpro/Traficsam?

If it doesnt currently support TMCpro - will it?
and how long in the future might that be?
and will this recomended hardware work with TMCpro?

Have done a search in the forum but there are no clear YES/NO responces to these thoughts.

same hardware will work, we can get it to work with TMCPro, but have to work out licensing, same as we are working on the license for the NavteqUSA and ClearChannel TMC here in the US...

but it can and will all work in Centrafuse, no ETA on the licensing model, but we will work something out...

David / Jan,

Any news on a plugin / code to suck in UK data from the Internet ? As I have said a number of times I know where to find this information and its feeds but no expertise in programming....

Having tried both the TMC pro services in the UK over the air using a OEM system I am more than convinced that this is the way to go for us over here due to the dire reception.... escpecially up here in the north.

They have it in the plans, but they also have other items that must be taken care of first.

As always, it happens when it happens. In order for them to get to it ASAP, they will have to put something else on the back burner...which would not be cool....
