How to Generate a System Report

Sometimes, the Flux team will ask you to generate a system report so that they can help diagnose an issue you may be having. I have attached a video of this but I will also describe it below:

Open Centrafuse -> touch the next arrow to get to the screen that shows you the Settings button and touch the Settings button -> touch the down arrow until you reach the end of the list. A list item titled 'Generate System Report' will show up at this point. Make sure it is highlighted and touch 'set-up' -> a window will pop up asking you if you would like to save this report to a different location -> select 'yes' -> you will then be prompted to pick the location you want. I generally suggest just saving it to your desktop so that it's easier to find later. C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop -> then touch 'close' -> a window will pop up telling you that a system report has been saved -> touch close again -> either exit out of Centrafuse or touch the 'Windows' button to be taken back to your desktop. Here you will see the system report file.

Just provide this to the Flux team!

(video coming shortly)

Would I be right in thinking you would need to turn event logging, cause an error, then run the report?

this is correct, in RC3 and forward logging is enabled on everything by default, whether turned on in settings or not... this is to help with testing...
