I keep being asked to reset my license. I’ve already registered it before!
Currently, the developers are not sure what is causing this for so many people. We do know that many times, it’s caused by someone removing a USB device then replacing it either in another port or by restarting Windows then plugging it back in. Many times, users do not realize that this is what their Centrafuse license is tied to. When Centrafuse creates the machine hash code for activation purposes, it does so based off of the hardware that it sees the system using. If that hardware is changed in any way, it will trigger the system to require reactivation. Even something as simple as a USB hub being powered down BEFORE the computer is shut down, or a USB cable coming loose a bit and causing sporadic connections.
In order to protect the intellectual property contained within Centrafuse, the developers must include some form or registration to ensure you are who you say you are when you use Centrafuse. This is really no different than Windows or any OSX for Macs, or really any other software currently on the market.
This is currently only an issue in the beta release of Centrafuse. If you are not OK with that, then we recommend that you revert back to the most recent stable version, which is 1.20. When you purchased Centrafuse, you actually purchased 1.20 then upgraded to the beta release voluntarily. Please know that the developers are working to reduce the sensitivity of this protection.
