I noticed now that a character was added to my serial, now I have 25. Let's try in a few moments.
I still think it might be usefull to have direct acces from CF to the my account page, maybe we can then upload *.log files on there, store user settings, messages from flux can be pushed to the CarPC,.... Just wondering off.. Thanks anyways.

The unlock code fails for me as well. I successfully did the License Key part (after realizing I had to type that in instead of being able to do it via a file). But the super-long unlock code that I have in a text file (with or without a trailing CR) results in a failure.
Log attached. (But I guess it doesn't really matter since the BT audio is so garbled. Is there *anyone* who has a workable setup? I've tried both SD and CF and 2 different BT adapters, and my voice is always garbled to the other person. Plus the fact that you can't control the mic volume without also affecting it for voice recognition, makes it seem completely futile.) John |

The activation code passed in contained spaces every other character in the log. Just to be sure, did you save this as an ASCII text file? Not Uniocde or something like that? Please send me your text file with the activation code that you entered into centrafuse via email, scottpm at fluxmedia dot net.

Yup, it looks like my browser saved it as Unicode. Resaving it as ASCII made it work. I think a lot of people are going to have this problem. I'm not sure if I was using IE6 or Firefox 2 to save it... probably IE6 at the time. EDIT: Actually I think I copied the code to the clipboard from IE6, but then I pasted it into Notepad (on XP Pro SP2), which automatically saved it as Unicode. I'm just using a standard IE6 installation (no plugins) and plain old Notepad, so I don't see what would be different for other people.
I can't try it again though since the URL to get to the unlock code apparently just works once. Other text I copy from IE6 defaults to ANSI in Notepad. |
