Progress Bar & Option to not show albums

I just wanted to put my vote in for the progress bar as well. I have also included some code that is a proof of concept that may (or may not) be helpful. Obviously I'm not sure exactly how you have implemented your play logic but I threw this together none the less. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will help expedite the addition of the progress bar.

I also wanted to re-iterate an old request to have an option to not show the albums when an artist's name is selected and instead just show all the songs. Or even a fake "album" that is always the first "album" listed called "All songs". This way it would be easy to see all the songs for an artist instead of having to go in and out of each album seperately.

We all appreciate the hard work David (and crew)...this is the stage that all the polish really makes your efforts shine.

we plan to look into a progress slider...

I will also look into the ALL, but you always can go into an Artist and if you hit the "+" it will add all the artists songs to the Queue, or you can simply hit Play now on the left and it will play all the songs by the artist...

coucouillu: the code I posted is not a "plugin" for CF...it was just a proof of concept of being able to move/set the position of the song using a slider using DirectX. I'm sure David is more than capable to create a progress bar--my hope was that this might expedite the process (maybe just wishful thinking ) I looked at this SDK and could not find a "set_position" function which would be needed for a plugin to be able to do this....we will have to wait a bit longer for this one.

spiro: I actually think the "all songs" will be more useful when you are looking for a particular song by an artist (and may not know the exact name). Or if you are wanting to add a few songs to a playlist (or queue) by a particular artist--currently to do this you have to go into and out of each album which is more difficult and a bummer.

It would be great to either have a slider to control the play position of the current song / podcast or a FFWD REW type control. Using guestures would be even better.
