IBus and ibuscomm
I have been trying to get IBUS steering wheel controls to work with centrafuse. I have been unsuccessful, and I’m not sure why? I’m using “ibuscomm” and have defined the keys accordingly. Does anyone have this working and if so do you car to post the appropriate ini settings.
Thank you,
Fern

if you can have it send hotkeys it should be working for you...
do the hotkeys you are trying to send work with a keyboard? If so the program must not be properly sending the hotkeys...
Centrafuse does not even have to have focus for the hotkeys to work, I register them system wide when the application is loaded...

Still at it and getting no where....
Well after trying for some time to get my steering wheel controls on my E46 with IBuscomm , I still can’t get it to go… If I open up Notepad I can get Ibuscomm to type what keys are being sent by the steering wheel and in Cetrafuse I can also hit the keys on the keyboard and have them perform their appropriate action, I just cant get them to talk together…Does anyone on this form have this working? Can someone post the Ibuscomm.ini they are using successfully?
Any further help is appreciated.

maybe make the hotkeys for the actions you need performed very simple like a single letter...
then just see if it works... maybe it's not porperly sending the hold alt keys, meaning ctrl, alt, shift... they have to be sent as if the ctrl was being held while the letter was pressed, not single strokes...
that could be the problem...
so make play or whatever you want to test a hotkey with just a single letter, then setup the software to send just that single letter and it has to work...
then you know the software doesn't properly send alt keys and perform the hold and press and just set your few hotkeys that you have on steering wheel to single letters or characters for that matter...

Hello !
Same problem here :-(
I tried to setup even simplest keys like - Volume UP = "u" Volume Down = "d"
and what is happening now - when I am pressing button on the steering wheel Centrafuse window gets focused but nothing changing. It looks like for some reason Centrafuse wont accept key commands which were sent from IBUS software.
Did anyone get ibus and centrafuse working together ? Please help.
