For me? Yeah, it always works as long as I don't lose my connection.
I have been using e-mail more regularly lately and I may have exaggerated the 3-5 minutes (before it starts receiving mail). I've noticed it's more like 1-3 minutes at "Receiving" and then once it actually starts grabbing the mail, it goes pretty fast. |

I timed it before, and it took exactly 60 seconds to start "Receiving" the mail. This was through a tethered internet connection from my phone.
I will check on Wi-Fi later today (hopefully) and time it, see how long it takes. |

I just tested this on my laptop here on my desk.
It pulled the mail almost instantly. I checked it, nothing h there. Then I went into settings and set it up. Went back to email and nothing, went back into settings to check the time I had it set to. Didn't change it, then went back to email and my mail was there. I even sent a test email and it was there by the time I got back to the module.

^ Interesting.
I just tested it with wi-fi. CF loaded up, I clicked on the E-Mail button, and it went into "Receiving" almost immediately, like it normally does... then took ~45 seconds to start to download the 10 or so messages from my e-mail account. Once the actual download started, it went relatively fast. So the results are the same as above, just instead of taking 60 seconds to start receiving the mail, it took 45. |

tested again here and it was fast...
not sure why it seems to be slow on your account/setup... all I can say is verify again all the secure settings for incoming, make sure it's not using the wrong secure setting and timing out or something... david |
