Music won't resume until I touch screen
I think everything is working great except for this one little thing. Whenever the computer resumes from hibernating, the music will not resume until I touch the screen.
I have tried enabling / disabling delay on resume with no success.
Any other suggestions I could try?

Yeah same here for me. If you notice, the whole program is kind of in a state of frozen until you touch the screen. Like the clock will be at the same time the program went into hibernation. I think pressing it reawakens it.

its because your windows is not reporting the resume event to CF until the screen is touched. You'll find that other applications other than Centrafuse experience the same thing on your system. This has plagues various users for a while, it is in our list of things to watch, but to this point we have not been able to figure out why it happens.

Mine just started this today, its so annoying......
Just a question, are you guys using the WZC the thing that controls your wifi in windows.... thats when the issue started for me... Im going to try to disable it and see what happens.... i also disable some other services, maybe one causes this if turned off....

OK, I have set everything back on my PC back to the way it was, and CF still has that retarded thing where the mouse has to be moved before it will start to play music. I also installed the latest CF and it still does it. It just boggles my mind that all of a sudden this happens. Where can I download prevoius RC versions. When I was on RC6 I didnt have this issue at all.

This is not Centrafuse as I mentioned in a previous post. It's your Windows, and it is not reporting the resume event to Centrafuse until you move the mouse. This can be replicated with any other application that you have that supports standby/resume. With that said, that it is not a Centrafuse problem, we still have it on our list of things to watch and hopefully one day will figure out why Windows starts to behave like this.

I read what you wrote before, but I just dont understand why my Windows would all of a sudden does this. If it did this from the get go then I wouldnt make a big deal about it. This happened once I updated CF..... so either CF corrupted something in Windows (which I doubt), my Windows just happened to start doing this on its own. I have lots of programs that reactivate on resume, Sprint, Volume_AMP_Control, and tons of others and they all resume as normal......
Let me ask, what Windows is everyone using. I am using Windows XP Home Service Pack 3. Im guess im going to have to take this up with Microsoft, but I really dont think it is.

we had a user write a simple test app on a system behaving like this, and it gave him the same behaviour, had to touch the screen for his simple app to receive the resume event. So, aside from the other things you said were working on resume, I was wondering more about centrafuse type applications such as Windows Media Player. So, if you have WMP playing music, CF not loaded, then do a standby/resume, does WMP resume playing the music when coming out of standby?
