pay 125 or 250$ ??

im in progress off maybe bying the centrafuse for my dad
BUT the price is high if he needs to pay 250$

if he only take the 125$ will that be that he cant navigate around ?

or will the 125 version just be without hardware or ??
sorry for asking the but seems a little confusing for me .

and another thing is when is there a new version out ? shall he wait for that or ?

thats correct, the $125 standard version does not come with maps for navigation. The $250 navigation version comes with maps, and is the difference of what we paid for the maps...

EDIT: p.s. i think thats so coooool that you are getting your dad into this. I've been working on mine to do it too, but he won't go for it...

This brings me to the idea of family licenses for centrafuse

You said standard version does not come with maps. But the GPS-Engine is available? That means to me that you can use your own maps if available, isnt it?

Or you could use iGuidance 4 via a plug-in. Which I think is easier to use and gives great directions.

but we cannot support that if you have any issues, and the upcoming 2.0 generated logs will tell us if they are flux installed maps or not...
