Voice Settings and Audio Input

I have the GURU carputer from MP3car.com. It has an internal built in microphone as well as a external jack for a microphone (both on the same sound card). The phone settings allow me to select which microphone input to use however the the VOICE settings allow me only to pick which sound card. It is auto selecting the external microphone (don't have one plugged in) when I go to voice training. I want to use the internal mic. It switches it even if I set it to the internal mic in the window settings first.

What do I need to do?

Jason

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by this....but the voice training thing is Windows related.

This really isn't anything to do with Centrafuse though. If you can get the voice training to work in Windows, then it will work in Centrafuse.

I'd try it first outside of Centrafuse. You also might want to ask Mp3Car directly to find out how they were able to get it to work.

I have three audio inputs, line in, external mic and internal mic. The setup for the voice training does not allow me to pick which input to use. For instance in your phone setup centrafuse allows me to pick the sound card and the input (I pick internal mic). For centrafuse voice setup it allows me to pick only the sound card to use. It switches the input to the external mic which I do not want to use. I want to use the internal mic for voice but I can't select it.

I'll check speech through windows and see what it allows me to do there.

Thanks

Jason

You should also contact Mp3Car and see how they have it all set-up and if they have it working.

Jan meant you need to go to Control Panel in Windows, then go to the Voice setup and select the microphone, and train within Windows... Then load Centrafuse and it should work...
