Startup of an external Application in an embedded Window?
I know that CF could load an external Application during startup.
I know that it is possible to run an external Application embedded inside CF. BUT it is possible to combine it. For e.g. when I start an external Navigation System during the Startup and I press afterwards the dedicated button inside CF, it launch once again the Application instead of just switching do it. Do I something wrong or is this not possible? |

If the external app is designed to check to see if another instance is open already, it should open the existing window, if not, it will just open another instance of it.
I dont think CF has anyway to check if the program is running already.

currently it does not... the first time you click the button, it will have to embed it... if you use hibernation/standby, you will not see this often...
we don't have the ablity to pre-load them at startup currently, if that is what you meant... david |
