Post up and let us know what USB sound card you're using with Centrafuse 2.0 that works!

Please also post if it's a 2 or 4 channel solution and if the front/rear mixer works in CF.

My bro is using the Zalman ZM-RSSC . It works great with CF 2.0. He is using it in a 4.1 channel configuration.

This one has separate controls on the device for all channels. So I am not sure if this can also be controlled via the centrafuse mixer.

Also, please post how much load it causes on your CPU. I hear that some of the USB soundcards are really demanding in terms of processing power (although that does not make sense to me, as the CPU / OS kernel is relieved from sound output).

I'm using an ESI GigaPortAG connected to an Infill G4. Despite the various known issues with the mixer, and Infill radio in RC3, I can successfully get sound from my front speakers only.

I think you'll find that if CF supported stereo upmixing (to 4.0, 4.1, which can be easily done in the BASS sound library CF uses), you would be able to support alot more sound cards.

I use a Sound Blaster Live 24 USB. Had alot of issues when i first bought. i then lost the driver CD, and had Sb send me out a new one (they charged me $10.00 for it). The new CD came with updated drivers and much more stable software. Now the card works perfect, and CF seems to be able to control all the basic stuff like all the controls like master volume, line in volume, etc.

I used this for a while but it introduced a lot of noise to the audio. CF could not control the mixer either. Very crackly audio when adjusting the manual volume controls. Now sits in my parts bin.
I'd rate it about 5/10. Cost $50.
