Yep.

Made a home made IR receiver and used winlirc and hotkeys to turn the button into keyboard combos.
Then just recorded in CF.
Had it working well on a test PC. Haven't put in the car yet.

Souds great, but do you know how to change source by repeatly pressing same button ?For example once pressing SOURCE button will launch MEDIA,2 times pressing will launch DVD etc.

Thumbs up

My remote hasn't been setup to do that. I use 1 button for media and a different button for nav. Use touch screen if I want DVD etc as I don't use that very often.

I would say it is possible.
Depending on how good your scripting skills are or how much research into scripting in autohotkeys or similar program you do it would be achievable.
One way in autohotkeys would be to write some code that runs through a cycle each time you press the button.
e.g.
Press one > output hotkey for media and write flag to goto next piece of code next button press
Press two > script runs from next step > output hotkey for DVD > write flag to goto next piece of code when button is pressed again. etc.

There could well be an easier way or even functionality in CF to do what you want, but I will leave that up to someone who knows a bit more about CF's inner workings.

Hope this helps.
