Help! Keyboard Won't Work!
Alright guys, help me out. I've got one of those small keyboards from eBay. It works FINE when the computer is up and running, and it works FINE when I need to work on the BIOS and stuff like that. For some reason yesterday, the computer failed to resume from hibernation. No big deal, but now - every time I boot I get a message asking me if I want to try to resume again, or to just boot fresh. Problem is, THEY KEYBOARD WON'T WORK!!! It works beforehand to go into the BIOS, but it's like when it gets to that menu, the computer disables it for some reason. Anyone have any ideas how to get around this?
The keyboard is plugged into some extra USB ports that are plugged into one of the USB port pin configs on the mobo. |

Windows needs to load the driver for it and it isnt getting a chance because the resume message doesnt allow it to go any further in its boot process. Does your motherboard have a PS2 keyboard port? if it does, plug a normal ps2 keybaord in there and select fresh boot.
