Cool, so instead of track forward and volume up/down, I could hit mode and switch those to 3 other commands. I'd probably keep volume to do volume and then just let mode switch my extra button. Not sure what I'd use quite yet, but I think I can find a few.

Hello. HiJack.
The shipping cost is now lowered.
There are two ways.
1. EMS - $12 or $10
2. general international post - $5 (takes longer time than EMS)

I have the setup working and programmed but it doesn't start automatically with Windows. I have the start with windows box checked and also the system tray icon checked but still doesn't start. Do I need to put the JEX app in my startup folder for Windows?

Seams to be working ok under XP now. I was testing on Win7 and couldn't get it to launch properly without having to run JEX by double clicking on icon. By checking the boxes mentioned it starts and runs on xp. I'll provide feedback once I get to run it in the car for a few days.

Working well in XP now. I had an issue where my wires that ran from the steering wheel lost connection at the harness and had to rewire. What a hassle, I uninstalled software, reconnected everything to find it had nothing to do with what I did.

I'm having a similar problem with Windows 7. I have to start JEX each time and load my config file. Otherwise the JOYCOM has some strange config, where the status bar is ALL green. It worked OK on XP Pro.

I had to enable it in 7 and then make sure the check box to start was enabled. Then copied it to the startup folder (just the shortcut) so it would start on windows startup. I had issues with nav and ended up going back to xp for my machine though. Didn't do any testing after that so I can't confirm what the real fix was. I love it though.

the VW use a can bus system. you would need something like the adapter from connect2 to get it into a resistor type signal. I believe how that adapter works
