Hello RCJoyCon - I am not sure if you remember but I ordered CarPC JoyCon a few months ago and because I was using it for my MacMini (intel) I had MANY issues with it. You mentioned to me that in JoyCon 2.0 it would be resolved.
Do you have any information as to when it will be available (if your even working on it)?
Thanks

SAAB has CanBus as well but if you take the resistance from the device before it will hit CanBus interface it will work without any problems. Ie. i've disconnected the steering wheel buttons from the system and connected joycon there

Can't wait to try it on my Infiniti. I'm reinstalling everything using Windows 7 now, when I'm done tweaking it, I'm going to give Joycon a try.
I have lots of buttons on my steering wheel, (Audio, phone and cruise control) is it safe to use cruise control buttons? I'm not sure there's only a pair for all the buttons...We'll see.
Here's a pic:
Also, I didn't remove the headunit, so I'm not going to use the volume buttons (since they're working already). I want mostly next/previous track track and menu/playlist navigation with an OK button.
Question: if I use them with Joycon, the car will still work with them (I mean, the resistance won't be altered?). I just tap into those wires and that's okay right, no need to cut them.
Thanks.

@Ripplinghurst
I tired the method of simply tapping into uncut wires...it did not work
im no electrician, but i believe it had something to do with "ground/power"
it "could" be getting power from both the joycon and the radio.
i had to cut the wires and send straight to the joycon.

Oh! Oh, no.
So that's not going to work for me, or for anyone who keeps their OEM radio.
Sad.
Thank you very much trinybwoy, you saved me!

yea, i had to give up my steering wheel audio changing capabilities.
but over the course of time i realized i dont change the volume of music as much as i change tracks, or random or mute.
luckily my car has that adaptive volume control, it raises the volume higher/lower depending on my speed.
i have been happy ever since..
my car is a 2006 mazda6, your infiniti should have that option.....

I see.
Yes, it does have that adaptive volume control. I don't remember ever having to set Centrafuse's volume control. I just leave it on max, I'd gladly remove those buttons from the front end, a waste of space for me.
I would want options for next track/previous however. I would also like to change from internet radio/mp3 player/video, like a mode button in the steering wheel.
I think I have in my toolbox a old wired remote from a Sony CD player somewhere. Maybe I can hide it in the steering column? Will see if the resistance changes as the buttons are pressed, like the one in the video.
Again, I couldn't care less about volume, but track changes are a must.

I have got a 2003 Vectra (half canbus), with six buttons on the steering wheel. I would like to use JoyCon to control these buttons within Centrafuse, but I am unsure where/how to install JoyCon within my system. Any advice?
Cheers

If it's similar to my setup - there are two connectors on the steering wheel under plastic cover (one screw on the bottom and two just behind the steering wheel).
One of them is gray and one is orange. DO NOT TOUCH ORANGE as it's airbag.
I've just unplugged gray one (so the signal is not going to CAN-BUS) and connected JoyCon there.
What I've recently found is that I do not have a horn now as the horn signal is like a 7th button on the steering wheel.
