Oooh wow!! What a tool!!!! Amaaazing stuff! Itll take a while to figure out, but Im looking forward to this hopefully fixing my boot times!! First thing I will try to add to this list is my Joycon and Blutooth dongle. I believe that is where the messes are happening.. I could be wrong though.. It may just be the Joycon..

Joycon has arrived! Can't wait to test it. I already have the remote in the car. I just have to pick which point I'll find the resitance (why are they called AD and Shift? I googled, found no explanation...it's juat a matter of trying one and the other though).
It came with a CD, but apparently the cd version is newer than the one on the website?
Web: Jex_setup_Vista(090410) -->April?
CD: Jex_setup_Vista(090819) ---August?
I used the one on the web, but I'll try the one on the CD later.
Got print Centrafuse keyboard shortcuts now. Any suggestions or what I can't miss? I know I won't need volume. I need menu navigation?, Voice activation, prev/next, play(pause)=same button, right?
Cheers,
RH

Okay, I did, tested, it works great, as far as it goes.
This is the remote and my Joycon setup (the green thing with the black and white wires). I used a radio shack mini jack and some computer fan wires and plugs. The only thing missing from the picture is the USB cable.
I got a problem though: Joycon does not let the computer go to hibernate or sleep mode. It goes to sleep/hibernate and immediately wakes up. It was sleeping perfectly before.
I tried to uncheck the ( ) allow this device to wake the computer up in the device manager; to no avail. It's maybe the application running on the taskbar? If it's not behaving well, I'll try to use Xport to kill the driver before sleep and restart it on resume. I also wrote a question on their website, they've been answering some there.
Also, this Sony remote (Sony RM-X2S) has one or two more buttons that Joycon does not pickup with one wire, but it does with the other. I use the one that picks ups 10 buttons total, leaving some push/rotate movements aside (disc change button). So how can one connect 3 wires to Joycon to be able to use all the buttons? The box came with two resistor. Why?
Cheers,
RH.

What I did to connect my 3 wires to the Joycon was to connect a resistor to input1 and a resistor with a different value to input2. I connected the two resistors and connected that to the data line. Not sure if that's clear, but I'll try to sketch it up.

I've attached the wiring information from my manual and the schematic I sketched up when I was planning (sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. It's all I have available right now). I think I ended up using different resistors in the end but this is the basic idea. Depending on the resistance values you're getting from the two wires, you may not need two resistors (or maybe any resistors). Since my two lines used the same resistances, I needed at least one resistor. The second resistor on the other line it made it easier for wiring/soldering. If the resistances on the button pushes are all different, you may be able to just tie the lines together.

Thanks guys! Somebody on mp3car.com sent me this:
From the JoyCon website.
The above is from an Alfa Romeo steering wheel, but I think it all depends on the resistance in question, as you guys said above. Thank you very much.
Now first I'm going to try to tackle the hibernation issue.

Joycon Sucks on Windows 7
I got 2 Joycon adapters (one for my wife car and one for mine) and I really wish I would had better invested that money on Phidget 8/8/8 interface card.
The software has all kind of issues when computer comes back from hibernation. It comes but buttons activated even though the resistance on the 2 leads is completely open.
Even on Windows XP I used to have an average of 75% good/25% bad times.
Service is poor, and just to download 22 meg file (iso image) takes more than 3 hours. This just remind me the dial up days. For a $35 a piece I think is way too expensive with all the issues that comes with it.
At this point I'm seriously thinking to get the phidget card and use it for the steering wheel and I'm sure I will be able to find many more uses.

Good luck with that, I rather spend time on a different solution that will be under my control like Phidgets.
