Thanks for the link. How did you like the results? Considering upgrades to mine. I'm just not satisfied with it.

    HI Jan,

I noticed in your CarPC Specs you listed your monitor as "8" Xenarc w/ 3M mods". I am curious what 3M mods you speak of? Are you using ARMR200? I have a Xenarc screen as well, and hate the glare.

    Thanks
    Chris

It shows under your profile tab. Most of the time when we or others need to know that someone is running a second drive, it will be because they are running a SSD and using the second HDD as media storage.

I figured there was no need to display it on the drop down list under user names.

I've posted pictures of the start of the process.

Centrafuse Carputer, CarPC & UMPC Forums - Jan's Album: Fabrication Pictures

Letting this section sit in the car for a few days then we'll pull it out and beef up the back portion.

Thursday night, we'll be working on positioning.

The whole goal here is to get 3-4x more air space than what we had before for the Be 3" mid range.

Currently, it plays down to around 550, we want...

In my quest to find a program that would allow me to convert all of my contacts (both csv and vcard) to .adr for Opera, I stumbled across this nifty little FREE program: Dawn

It's called Dawn.

It will convert your Contact files (including those from Outlook) into vCard, or any number of other formats.

I've not tested it with Centrafuse, and probably won't be able to for some time now, but I figured I would post it for others to try and report back with...

By it's nature, the log files are intended for internal use for our own troubleshooting and for advanced support issues.

However, keeping in mind that we have a number of more advanced computer users, we wanted to provide a bit of information that would help those users to read these log files in order to assist them in troubleshooting.

As we have these items come into the support system, this FAQ will be updated.

Have something that you want to see added?...

Recently I purchased a new phone - a Treo 800w, to replace my Treo 700WX.

I must say that I love the phone thus far. It has Windows Mobile 6.1 on it, compared to Windows Mobile 5 which was on my 700WX.

Naturally, as soon as I got it home, I started to look for new software to use on it. I read a post somehwere about how someone like how Opera Mobile worked on their Windows Mobile phone, so I decided I would give it a try. I must sayt hat I'm very impressed. I'm...

I've been getting a number of support emails, calls, and requests with people asking how to get their XXX Bluetooth device to work with Centrafuse.

We can only support the phone functionality at this time. Bluetooth GPS is simply not recommended. It's not generally stable enough to be considered a good solution.

So do yourself a favor and just buy a wired GPS solution, you'll be thankful you did when you can just plug it in and have it work without any troubles.
